Assignment #3

Conventionally, architectural presentations use informative and independent drawings to communicate the design and it requires a number of drawings to convey the concepts and ideas of the project. In this assignment, we will explore the different aspects of architectural drawing to extend the degree of abstraction while reinforcing the design.
Protocol
1) Create a 20”x30” board to present your project.
2) Using the techniques shown in lecture such as line weights, hatching, mapping raster images, and so on, generate drawings from your tartan grid object.
3) These drawings should be innovative, unconventional, and unique ways to explain your concept. The drawings should illustrate both the complex object and also the simpler tartan grid that the object was derived from.
4) This assignment is due on OCT. 6th midnight (central time). Upload a JPG version of your board to the class blog.
5) You will be notified when you need to plot the board and exhibit your project.
