Assignment #1

Assignment #1 (Due by August 28th 6:00PM)

The School of Architecture marks a century this year as we move into the new building. We will use this opportunity to design a commemorative poster for the school. Carefully look around the building and take a photograph of an interesting place or detail that captures the essence of the school. We'll use this as a basis for creating the poster. For example, look for places where new and old meet, new architectural elements, simple spaces, light, texture, or people. The photograph must be of high quality in composition and resolution. Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and the tools and techniques covered in class, use the image to create an 11x17 poster for the OSU School of Architecture Centennial Celebration. The tutorial will be given during the workshop and posted in the class blog.
